Once a mother, always a mother! Just on my own isn't on her own anymore.

This is a strange story, a story that shows that horses can have real fealings.
This story started 3 weeks ago. Verona (daughter of Vigo D'arsouilles x Isaura vd Helle) was ill, and the vet could'nt help her. She passed away, only 4 years old, and at that time she had a foal of 10 days old.
We were looking for a mare who could accept her, to give her milk and could take care of that little foal of Vertigo.
The only mare possible at that time, didn't accept her at all. We had to take her in a box, and Tim and Vicky were so kind to take care off this foal, we named her: Just on my own.
The foal was standing in the naberhood of two mares, one was carrying a foal, the other one had one foal, 6 years ago. Everything was going fine, for two weeks already. And yesterday, something changed.

Yesterday the mare got her foal, and the other mare was feeling lonely. She was jealous and wanted a foal. The solution was next to her, Just on my own.
We gave the mare Queshmira medication to produce milk, and now the two mares are really happy with their foals.
And Just on my own? She has had enough bad luck, and enjoys the friendship with her new mother. Thank you, Tim and Vicky.
Just on my own is a granddaughter of the famous Isaura vd Helle (Erik Wauters), and also Vigo d'Arsouilles is well known (he jumps this afternoon the Nations Cup in Rotterdam with Philippe Lejeune). We keep our fingers crossed for the Belgian team.
