I saw the Irish bonds coach that day with the price giving of the Nations Cup and I knew he was wearing a striped sweater. But, no no I was totally wrong. The real Irish bonds coach was Ivan’s father and he was wearing a pink sweater.
I kept on doubting about the truth so I asked Ivan for more explanation. After a big grin on his face I knew enough. His father came to Lummen for supporting him, as a bonds coach he didn’t make it yet…..
Anyway, the real Irish bonds coach did speak with Ivan that day. He was amazed after seeing his round in the Grand Prix of the CSI** with Centro Z. He was impressed by his abilities. Also Ivan’s father saw that he was doing well!
