Believing in healing….Believing in general

Sometimes there seems to be no ending at the misery of some people. Horses get sick, but what if you get sick….
Last year, Red Star still won the Grand Prix of Royan. He even left behind him the revelation Topinambour with Penelope Leprovost. Soon after that he became injured. The comeback of Red Star, should be this year, at least that’s what we believe in. We do not give up!
And with we, I mean primarily the owners Patrick and Andrea. They became much more than owners,… friends, is a better word.
When we had difficult times, they were there to support us, and so they have ensured that Cyber of Vrijhern also was able to stay in our stables.
Red Star in the clinic, but Patrick himself is not spared from visits to the hospital either. A rare muscle disease…..Out of respect for Patrick, we're not going to tell too many details. We can only show our respect, and hope that everything gets better really soon. For example it would be a good start if Cyber makes some good results in Linz.
Next month, we’ll combine the worming of our young horses in the Foulayronnes with a visit to Lourdes with Patrick Brys. If miracles exist, we don’t dare to tell but its better then doing nothing.
We continue to believe in his healing, believing that he will recover soon.

In the same context, we received this morning a phone call from Eric Van Meer, breeder of the VM-horses, living in Duffel. He had a car accident last week, another car didn’t make the turn by speeding and hit him.
It’s a miracle that he’s still alive!
You need luck in life, that's for sure!

But now we look forward, up to Linz.
We hope that our Belgian riders are ready. The Nations Cup will be ridden on Friday the 14th of May.
