Va-Vite does it clear in the 1m50 and qualifies for the GP of CSI Béthune.

Patrik has already a lot of experience on international competitions and each time he leads the horses to a 1m50 level. That’s what he tries anyway! On Sunday, Va-Vite did
it clear in the 1.50m class, a class that counted as qualification for the Grand Prix.
They ended 10th and the qualification was a fact. Earlier that day Wrangler also jumped double clear. They rode the class deliberately more conservative, and if they ended 9th. On Saturday they just went a bit too fast and it went wrong for a moment... Then you need to slow down again, put everything back to place and keep on riding with your mind... Are nephew Jeroen De Winter also rode with his mind, he had no experience before on a higher level but in Bonheiden he got a speed course of it!
Because the class on Saturday, the 1.30m direct on time, went so well, he wanted to ride the Grand Prix of the ponies. Everybody got a bit quiet when they were building the course but Jeroen as always stayed very cool and calm. Just walk the course and make the most out of it! They did a good round, 2 small mistakes on the way. It was super for their confidence and they learned a lot.
Last year, Jeroen had the chance to get some experience already on an international competition with the ponies Idol and Flor, thanks to Kris livens. But this was the first time he rode with on the highest level by the ponies.
Jeroen stayed sober and in the evenings he still went to ride his younger pony Romario. On Monday he leaves with him to ride at the competition in Pulderbos where he will perform in dressage and jumping.

And so, there is always something to do! We look forward to the Grand Prix of Béthune where Patrik will be starting Va-Vite.
Even Sherlock (owned by Uncle Paul Ceulemans), we will follow closely.
The small image (Mini Sherlock) jumped into the lead with Marnick in the mini Grand Prix of Koningshooikt!
And also Thibeau did it great, thank you Tess for the pictures!

Next week will also be very exciting. Then Nathalie will go to her first show in Bevel. Thibeau still rode with her pony yesterday and it went well. Nathalie is really excited and she can’t wait to follow into the footsteps of her brothers Jeroen and Jorgen De Winter.
