Wrangler 3th in the final class 1m45 on Sunday in Canteleu.

Wrangler third in the final 1m45 class on Sunday in Canteleu. In the first qualifying class on Friday Cyber had 2 faults so didn’t qualify for the Grand Prix. He got a second chance on Saturday in the 1.50m class. A lot couldn’t go wrong and it looked very good, until the fourth last fence. One obstacle had been judged wrong and they got a refusal. For the rest Cyber did it clear. With two time faults they ended on 6 points, just enough to qualify them for the Grand Prix. And so little Cyber will be jumping his first Grand Prix. Although we can’t expect too much, for us it’s already very nice that he doesn’t seem to have any trouble with the height.

The other Belgians were particularly good in Canteleu. Good work from Koen Vereecke (Carlito C) and Karline De Brabander (Bamako, the Muse) with a clear round and ended on a third and fifth place in the 1.50m qualifying class.

Victory was for the French rider Julien Epaillard. However Jerome Guery came close with Waldo, but with one fault but a shorter time it was good for a seventh place.

Julien Epaillard won his third class in a row in Canteleu. On Saturday morning Patrick missed one turn with Wrangler and because of that they had one down in the second fase. But luck for Wrangler on Sunday morning. Patrik thought he rode the fastest round ever and he was very surprised that they were 2 more riders that were faster.

Yet again a very good achievement from Wrangler, what an abnormal mentality he has. Next assignment for Wrangler is La Coruna. For Etoile and Cyber it’s not finished yet in Canteleu they’re still jumping.

In Bonheiden Ivan Dalton is still going to jump the Grand Prix with Rapsody DH.
