The quality of Butterfly, the attitude, speed and respect.

Butterfly went to the show again after some time off. That the owners Eric and Martine want to use her for breeding by using an embryo transfer, we all understand. She gives her qualities to her children. For example, Elite vd Padenborre, her 6-year-old daughter by Nick van Laer, showed herself again in the jump-off on Sunday in the 6-year olds in Hulsterlo. A super fast time, but one fault made that they missed the victory. That was almost the scenario for Butterfly today. As if she never left, she’s immediately returned. The ground was a little bit too hard today in Wiener Neustadt, so they just slipped a bit going towards the last fence. One fault but again a great time!
For Centro Z (v. Cento Lano) everything went well, a bit slower but still good for a sixth place. Victory in this opening class 1m40 for the CSI *** remained in Austria, Hugo Simon. Wiener Neustadt is a beautiful show, a beautiful ring. The ring is now a little bit too hard and the organization did everything to make it better! Patrik didn’t want to take any risks with Whitney today in the big class so he will jump her tomorrow instead. Uletta came this morning already in the ring. The daughter of Cento Lano did it clear in the 6-year olds. We look forward to the continuation of the show this weekend. A weekend where Ivan Dalton also is participating at the national show in Schilde. We also do look forward to next weekend and we like to remind everybody to the announcement we got from the VLP. There is a large deficit of blood donors this summer. VLP committed to find additional blood donors. More info at: www.bloedgevendoetleven.be or www.vlp.be. In any case, Ludo Philippaerts is giving the good example by giving blood. Patrik and I would also like to follow that call. Next week Patrik takes part at the international show of Bonheiden on Tuesday until Thursday. He’s in the country on Wednesday, when we will go and find a Red Cross in the centre St-Katelijne-Waver (centre) to give some blood. Perhaps an idea for others?
In any case, we wish everyone a safe and sportive season.
