Why we can’t go and watch the tour??
We have our traditions at home and one of them is; when Patrick is abroad and we can’t follow the show live we follow it at home. But we prefer when there’s nobody else around. They would not understand that someone would suddenly jump up and a make few laps around table.So its pure enjoyment and we got that chance again this afternoon. Whitney has to go as 3rd in the Grand Prix of Wiener Neustadt. At that time the first two combinations had given up or were eliminated. As you see the 0 coming up the computer through the internet, it’s a big relief and happiness! But then the jump off … Then it was a bit disappointing when we saw some faults coming up on the screen. With 13 riders in a jump off you try to take every risk possible of course…
Are son Marnick and nephew Jorgen De Winter were certainly not planning to stay home for that. They left with a Belgian flag to Walem where the Tour of France will be passing. Jorgen was determined to come on TV… ;-)
We continued to follow it all from home. Like in Brussels at the sprint where some felt and crashed is our competition in Wiener Neustadt the same. We remember the good performance and we hope for a safe return.
Next weekend in La Coruna! From Tuesday till Thursday Va-Vite jumps at the CSI ** Bonheiden, in meanwhile Whitney, Cyber and Wrangler will be on the way to the 4 star show in La Coruna! One thing is certain, Patrik will not win the GP of Wiener Neustadt or the one in Bonheiden. When the GP is busy on Thursday afternoon, he’ll be flying. Currently the Grand Prix of Wiener Neustadt is still busy and Dirk Demeersman will be jumping it for Belgium.
