Cortina DH Grande, fourth in the Belgium Cup for Seniors.

This weekend was also the Belgium Cup for seniors. Because Patrick was in La Coruna he was not able to compete but we still like to follow the results of the other riders. Like the Dutchmen just didn't make it in football, Guy Janssens and Cortina Grande ended up the same in the Belgium Cup. Last year the Jugetra Team bought Cortina as a 7-year-old at our stables, and since then they form a very good combination. A mistake in the first final round and very fast and clear in the second round brought them on a fourth place. Christophe Vanderhasselt and Davy Lannoo have the cup together in their pockets. They remained all the way clear over the two rounds and in the second round they realized the exact same time, so they shared the prices and the cup. At the 3rd place was David Christophe.

The team of Jugetra can be very happy with the result, on Saturday Cortina won the second qualification round. Cortina DH is with her 8 years still a young mare and remains a promise for the future. We think aswell to have such a promise for the future in our stables, an 8 year old mare who was even a finalist at the World Championships by the 7 year olds last year, Cadjanine Z.
Meanwhile she's been trained very well by her own foal in the field, she has to keep up.Ultra Precious DH Z (v. Ultra Boy) is able to mis her mum already a bit by now, she's incredibly independent. Cadjanine Z comes back in competition next weekend, we will start quietly. She can join us to the national competition in Gesves. Also Etoile, Discovery, Uletta, Lady Mc Beth and Va-Vite are allowed to jump on Friday and Sunday.
That gives us time aswell to go and have a look at the best show of all shows, the CHIO of Aachen.
