We're going to Kentucky and we take with...

Kentucky is alive between the riders. Who will be able to go and ride there? Witch horses/riders are in their best form for the minute? Maybe the perfomances of Beervelde is still going to count... There are still some contenders and a few probable certainties.. In the next coming weeks the chef d'equipe Philippe Guerdat will let us know propably. Let us hope that a strong team will be going with some opportunities for succes. We're not the only onces that are busy with Kentucky. Also the VLP is counting down, and organised a website www.opwegnaardeweg.be
Anyway we're for sure going to Kentucky. We're going to support the Belgian team over there.
And what will we pack, for sure our bags with clothes and our computer to put every news on our website.

For us no selection-stress. Not for Kentucky anyway. We suppose that the chef d'equipe will take other riders for the team, what doesn't mean that it would be an honour to be selected.
We try to put it out of our heads so that we can compete at the show of Beervelde without any stress.
There're still some important competitions to come for the Belgian team to get back in the Top Series next year. Also those selections we try to forget. We go with a lot of pleasure to Beervelde and we take with: Va-Vite, Withney vd Dwerse Hagen, Butterfly vd Padenborre and a 6 year old.
Witch 6 year old? The one who won't qualify tomorrow for the Belgian Championships in Gesves. Maybe we do have some selection-stress, because we're hoping that Uletta, Lady Mc Beth and Etoile M will get trough the selection.
Also Caroline De Laet will be riding the qualification with a daughter of Cento Lano, m.n. Elixir.
So tomorrow a bit of stress in Gesves. The Belgian Championships for young horses will be ridden from 10 untill 15 of August.

From Thursday on it all starts in Beervelde. And once it starts there we also hope for some good results.
Normally Ivan Dalton would also be participating in Beervelde for Ireland but it still not sure because he hurt himself, so let's hope that he'll recover quickly. The FLANDERS HORSE EVENT even took a 'press-chief' named Dirk Zagers. Regulary there will be news-updates on the website. This weekend we might be to busy to write, thats why you can follow through the link of the show of Beervelde....
