About Wrangler and Dollar...

Joe Clee and Patrick Spits, they know how to motivate each other. Last weekend Joe had a successful show at Beervelde but no luck in the Grand Prix with Curose and a few places with Diablesse in the other classes.
This week Dollar comes in action together with Joe. Dollar is with his 7 years still very young, but our 7 year old champion has still a lot to show us.
Patrick will be riding Wrangler in the higher classes, Joe will start Dollar. There will be a qualification class for the Grand Prix, I am curious to see how they’re going to compete against each other.
Joe wanted to take it step by step with Dollar but Patrick believes in them. It’s not sure if it’s going to be straight away a big success but they’re ready to learn out of it. Ambassador is after a long time of rest back in action as well, he started already with a nice and quiet clear round in the 1m20 class. If we can manage to build it up slowly again then he’ll be ready this winter for some good performances. Ambassador is a real winner, de mentality from Heartbreaker just like is half-brother Dollar.

In meanwhile we saw the schedule for Calgary. If Wrangler goes with to Calgary then it won’t be Wrangler versus Dollar but Wrangler and Withney chasing the dollars.
How do you prepare yourself to ride a Grand Prix where they divide 1.000.000 dollar? In total the price money is 1.700.000 Canadian dollars….
We’ve been years and years very happy with a medal of the LRV. And over the last few years we’ve been very happy with what we won or what we didn’t win. It was a few times for a lot of money but this is really a lot of money. The show in Calgary seems to us unbelievable we still have to get use to it and prepare ourselves the best we can.

There’re will be for sure some expensive fences falling in Calgary. But more importantly is that today in Bratislava no fences falling for the Belgian riders. More then a individual success is a team success. It would give a lot more chances to the riders, owners and breeders.
We cross our fingers for Philippe Lejeune, Dirk Demeersman, Ludo Philippaerts, Gregory Wathelet and chef d’équipe Philippe Guerdat.
