Niels Bruynseels is a farmer

That there’re some exciting weeks coming up, that’s nothing new! That the chef d’équipe Philippe Guerdat is doing his absolute best to follow the form of the riders and horses, that became clear in Vilvoorde! He saw from Friday morning on until Sunday evening every horse jumping.
A lot of riders that still had a chance to go to Kentucky were there so it was
The results can be followed through next link…
What Guerdat has been doing for the horse sport, it’s gigantic! He’s a good contact person, brings team spirit, and he tries to get starting permissions at nice shows and gives a lot of good tips and explanation!
He gave several riders a lot of chances and also we’re very thankful for that!
After all the critics we’ve got last year for the selection of the Europeans we can only be very happy about the professional way its been done this year!
Admittedly it’s not easy for riders and owners to know if they can or not go to Kentucky. But it is honest! Normally the riders who will be doing a good job in Gijon the ones that will go to Kentucky.
But it doesn’t mean that the ones that go to Calgary don’t make a chance anymore…
And maybe that can be Niels Bruynseels? If he can leave his house of course… because Niels became a farmer. He got on his wedding day a lot of animals from his friends. Patrick gave him a calf. That calf can stay by Ellen and Niels, some other animals (like a ostrich…) already have been brought to another place. Now that they’re on honeymoon, brother in law Nick Van Turnhout is taking care of because it still needs to be fed with the bottle because it’s only 3 weeks old.

The atmosphere between the riders is top! If the riders in Gijon can promovate the Belgians to the Top Series then that would be a first ‘thank you’ to the Belgian horse sport federation and the chef d’équipe who have made it all possible. Before everybody was also trying his hardest but every time something went wrong.
The next important task is of course Kentucky. There the Belgian team should get there qualification for the Olympics in London.
If that would work we’ll be starting with organising the Belgian supporters’ bus to go to London with.
