Next to the bar there was an electric rodeo-bull. Our nephews Jorgen and Jeroen De Winter had to try that once. Jorgen had to let go after some ruff spinnings. Against Jeroen the bull couldn't win because he kept on till the end.
Jeroen participated this year at some "Gouden Laars shows", a national challenge for children, juniors, youngriders, both for poneys and horses. They were ideal shows to get some experience on a higher level. They weren't planning to go and ride the final in Neeroeteren with the ponies because it got to busy in selling chrysants (flowers) by granddad Roger De Winter and at that time children and grand children are helping.
They weren't planning to ride there but they did go and watch the stand of a special contest; a national challenge for children (younger than 14 years old) with their poneys, the challenge of the future, or in dutch: the "tornooi vd toekomst".
And it seemed that Jeroen was leading that stand!
If next week he might be kicked of that leading place is only a big question mark??? He is going to try everything he can anyway to stay in that position. And right he is! That the best youngster can win! To be continued....

Our nephew Jeroen De Winter, he's really special. Yesterday we were with the younger riders as guests in the Azelhof. The mini steeple chase was on between the western.
