It can be said that it is for sure a really young team. Because Patrick is already leaving on Thursday to Montpellier our nephew Jeroen De Winter will replace him. We don’t want to put any pressure on Jeroen and we’re hoping that it will go well without any pressure. Anyway it’s a nice experience and an unique opportunity for him, he gets the chance to ride the Heartbreaker son Va-Vite! Jeroen will be jumping the 1m30 class. In his team we’ve got Jorien Livens with our own breeding product Electra vd Dwerse Hagen (Heartbreaker x Codex) and Van Linden Alyra with Don G.
The 3 star competition in Montpellier starts on Friday the 12 of November. Will be competing for Belgium: Dag Keymolen, François Mathy Jr., Patrick Spits, José Thiry and Maurice Van Roosbroeck.
Jumping Mechelen; everybody wants to be there!
All chances are good enough to get into Jumping Mechelen. The kids are training with their Shetland ponies for the Mini Steeple Chase. Patrick is hoping to be in good shape by then with his competition horses. And this week there’re some big chances for a lot of riders to ride in Jumping Mechelen. The selection for the Darco-Cup; 3 horses of the same Sire are forming a team. There were years that we had a lot of teams jumping this competition but this year we kept it small.
