And now everybody was looking up from the results of Cadjanine in Montpellier. The classes in Montpellier were very good organized but the results stayed below expectations. Also in the Grand Prix with Cyber it didn’t work, not his day or not there day because you’re always with 2. Wrangler did his best with a 5th place on Friday and on Saturday he had bad luck on the last fence in the Table C class. From a top placement to a following price…
But back to Cadjanine Z, our 8 year old Cannabis mare. On Saturday evening she had 2 faults in the triple combination in the 1.55m class, not bad! She doesn’t look to have any problems with the height. We want to keep on building her up and keep on dreaming… Also Chef d’équipe Philippe Guerdat was in Montpellier and saw that it was good as well… Also a lot of the international riders were asking after this mare… She seems after her pregnancy coming out of nowhere… From being a young horse jumping straight away big classes. We still have another one like that at home. Cadjanine Z was not the only mare that by accident but her own foal on the world. Also Eluna vd Dwerse Hagen (Querlybet Hero x Withney vd Dwerse Hagen), the embryo was not rinsed with the embryo transplantation and was carried by herself. For the 6 year old Eluna the pregnancy can take a bit longer. You can admire her with her son Kilamanjaro (v. Va-Vite) at the auction on the 8th of January. Eluna will be back in work and want be sold. Only Kilamanjaro can put a step in the world.
Next weekend we stay close to home. We’re looking forward to the competition of Wieze. On Saturday evening Jeroen can also perform in the student class for the Gouden Laars.
