In the opening section he had to let the Belgian champion Jérome Guéry pass before, he was however very satisfied with the 5th place of Comptesse vd Withoeve. In the subsequent 1.40 m course, Patrik had to submit for world champion Philippe Lejeune. This time it was Lady Mc Beth who obtained a nice 3rd place.
On the duration you think nothing can go wrong anymore. And confident Patrik went in the arena for the 1.50 m category. A trial where both Patrik with Withney, as Gregory Wathelet with Cadjanine were at the start.
For Cadjanine just no jump-off, by 1 time fault ...
Also Patrik and Withney had long view at the jump-off, but that one fault on the last hurdle.
Our son Thibeau Spits has a period where it all seems to work. During the style jumping- contest in St-Lenaerts, he gave all a good impression with Sunny and Sherlock. The course of Sherlock was good for the win. On Friday 2 November we participated at the contest in Zoutleeuw, which was decorated particularly stylish by the Prouvé family. The ride of Sherlock was again rewarded with victory in the series of small size. Also in the series of big size Thibeau did well with a shared 8th place (Sunny).
Hopefully we can continue to talk about good results the rest of the weekend in Liège. All info via the link.
