Ultra Boy becomes 7 years, and jumped in the youngster-classes. On Friday and Saturday he didn't touch a pole. He finished joint first on Friday, and he was second in the Class after a clear round in the Jump Off on Saturday. Today Patrik took a lot of risks, and it resulted in 4 penalty points.
The other son of Heartbreaker was Ambassador van D'Abeliëndreef. Ambassador is a really careful horse with a lot of scope. Ambassador becomes 8 this year, and till now he only jumped till 1.40m. In Nantes he had to make his debut on 1.45m and even 1.50m classes!
And he did it really good! On Friday he was placed 4th in the 1.40m class. Today he had to jump in the 1.50m class, and he only had bad luck on one fence, with 4 penalty points as the result.
Afterwoods it was the Grand Prix. It was a nice 1.60m class, and Patrik had his mare Withney van de Dwerse Hagen.
Withney is a very powerful and careful horse. She did what we expected, but it seems that Patrik did subscribe to the result of 4 penalty points today. Also bad luck with Withney on one fence. The Winner of the Grand Prix was the British rider Tim Stockdale. It was already the 3th time that he was able to win this grand prix.
We are very satisfied of our horses, and we are looking forward to the outdoor season!
