The club "Groentenjumping" has won in 2008 the title of Belgian Champion interclub, with the riders Patrik Spits, Jules, Veronique and Olivier Van Roosbroeck, all living in St.-Katelijne-Waver.
Also because the organisation of the showjumping with Eastern, organised by team Groentenjumping, has got a good reputation, the club "Groentenjumping" received the price of best Sportclub of the Year 2008.

Last Friday, the prices have been given to the best sportman and -clubs of last year in our village.The club "Groentenjumping" has won in 2008 the title of Belgian Champion interclub, with the riders Patrik Spits, Jules, Veronique and Olivier Van Roosbroeck, all living in St.-Katelijne-Waver.
