Comptesse and Withney jump their selves in the spotlight on CSI *** Bremen.
The competition in Bremen may have been the last indoor of the season for Patrik. And he can look back with satisfaction! In the 1.50 m class on Saturday night, Comptesse showed her capabilities in the Championnat of Bremen. They took out the profit within the group, and managed to qualify for the Siegerrunde. There seemed to strike the fatigue, but her first FEI rankingpoints are already a fact!!
Withney is for us a fixed value. In Bremen, they work with a special system, with on Saturday a team competition. Those points are taken to Sunday.
On Saturday Withney had 2 errors. Jan Vinckier was nice error free, a good starting position for Sunday. The Belgium team was 2nd. On Sunday, there was also a separate classification for the trial, a 1.55 m directly on time.
Patrick and Withney did it excellent, but one turn a bit too short, and there was the fault ... Now it was still good for 12th place, but still a shame because a better result was so close. That's the sport!
Of course, we were particularly pleased that Jan Vinckier managed to hold on his good starting position from Saturday on Sunday. Jan was the only one who succeeded in a double clear round, and was ultimately the winner!
Jan Vinckier has already agreed with us to participate on "Groentenjumping".
For Comptesse and Withney also, CSI St-Katelijne-Waver will be their next game. They already have the form, and we do everything that they can just keep that form.. Also the good weather we have now, and also this we want to keep!
