Matthias Hens wins CSI1* Grand Prix
It looked to become a ladies thing, but as one of the last starters it was 19-year-old Matthias Hens who clocked the fastest time in the jump-off of the Prize Kodeh BVBA. In total 12 combinations qualified for the jump-off. Hens had to give his all to set the fastest time, 37.22 seconds, with his seven-year-old Holsteiner mare Gipsy van ‘t Heike (by Grandeur). However, numbers 2 to 5 were all lady riders. Runner-up was Jorien Livens who had a real fast time too with her Holsteiner mare Conassis vd Helle (by Clearway). The clock stopped at 37.48. Third place went to Nathalie Willems with Winner R KWPN, by Lupicor). Holland’s Kimberley Winsingh finished in fourth spot with Argentea (KWPN, by Argentinus) followed by Jolien Maenhaut and One Two Semilly (SF, by Mr. Blue). Full results
