Patrik & Comptesse, bad luck in GP CSI** Horses and Friends, but promising for futur!

This weekend we had our first regional LRV competition indoor, immediately a hit for our niece Nathalie Winter, and our own children Catherine, Lauranne, Marnick and Thibeau Spits. They came home with some deserved prices!

What we were most satisfied with, was the performance of Lise Fol. Through a pony camp Lise found us. In the past she had already done gymnastics on a high level. We saw that she had talent to ride. Together with her parents we decided to accompany Lise in the sport.

Last year around this time she had her first competition. That was a very difficult start, but Lise insisted. Yesterday, exactly one year later, Lise is really doing a good job! She is already competing with the best. This competing wouldn’t be possible without her good friend and pony; Niemo. Unfortunately Lise still grows and Niemo is getting too small for her. Yesterday would have been her before last competition with her great friend.

Lise still needed two points for the transition to the highest pony series at the B ponies’ category. To get this two points she had to have a clear round, but lise did more than that! She won! Next indoor Lise can start the B light series, 80cm.

That indoor competition will really be the last game with Niemo, because Niemo is included in the selection for the Troostwijk auction. Ofcourse we foresee some other young ponies for Lise.

Patrik had a again a weekend of mixed feelings. This weekend he had his last competition with Comptesse and Vichy DH Z ate CSI** opglabbeek. Also Dolce Vita (Darco x Saygon) made the trip to Sentower, the three of them did great!

Vichy did it twice clear, with a 14th place in the 1.35m class on Saturday.  Dolce Vita competed in the ranking class on Saturday, she did great, but just that one fence down at the final hurdle.

For Comptesse vd Withoeve it looked good on Sunday in the Grand Prix, she stayed clear till the  penultimate fence, but .. with 4 penalty points she could'nt go to the jump off.  Although Comptesse is showing us her good shape, and that’s how we like to see it!

Some horses and ponies from our selection haven’t got secrets to us, and we know them inside and out. Of course there are some horses we don’t know that well either. That’s why Patrik will put an effort in getting to know them as well as possible.  In that way we can inform interested customers in a good way. Patrik will stay at home until the 9th of November, so for now no competitions. Since today it is possible to make an appointment to get to know the horses a little better!

The children still get some time free to go on competition. That’s  what we like to do next weekend direction Sentower for the Euro Region Horses & Friends.
