Spanish victory in six-year-olds final, Piet Raijmakers wins 1m30 class
The box of Spanish oranges will travel back to Spain. The final of the six-year-olds, the Prize 3 Vrouwen, had a Spanish victor. Javier Salvador Torreguitart was the fastest in the jump-off with his KWPN gelding Charley (by Harley VDL). He clocked 36.49 seconds. Runners-up were Holland’s Jack Ansems and the KWPN gelding Chelme (by Lupicor). Ireland’s Ivan Dalton took third place with Comme Il Faut (KWPN, by Diamant de Semilly). Best Belgian combination was Niels Bruynseels with Casandra (KWPN, by Casantos) in fifth. Full results
Hollands Piet Raijmakers Jr was the fastest in the Prize Delta Link, a Table A against the clock. His horse, Faults Free (SF, by Con Air), lived up to his name and stayed clear in 82.38 seconds. Belgium’s Delphine Goemaere finished runner-up with her eight-year-old mare Vitalis Go (Holst, by Cristo). Mexican Ernesto Canseco took third place with Anderson VDL, an eight-year-old KWPN gelding by Chin Chin. Full results
