There will be a third internet auction on April 20th; Jonsaunier is a real ambassador of our auctions!
We passed a very successful weekend during the WEN, with a big thanks to the organization! There was top-class sport to experience, culminating with the Grand Prix CSI ** on Saturday night. Our nephew Jeroen de Winter rode a great clear round with his Corland-mare Gretel in the base course. He was very fast in the jump-off, but with one fault he obtained a nice 14th place. The victory of the GP CSI ** WEN was for Wouter de Vos with Tonik Hero. He follows that way his brother Pieter, as previous winner of the GP Wen. The Stallion competition on Friday was also a highlight last weekend. Jericho got one fault on the last hurdle of the basic course at the 6-year-olds. With Donckervoort DH, Patrik managed to proceed to the jump-off at the 7-year-olds. Their time would have been good for victory, but there was one pole down.
At the 6-year old stallions we saw on the 1st and 2nd place stallions that were sold during the
auction here. Javel van de Heffinck was a fraction faster than Jonsaunier Dwerse Hagen. Jonsaunier can be labeled definitely as Ambassador of the "Ceulemans stables-auctions”. Already 2 weeks in a row he knows to confiscate the 2nd place, good for the lead in the provisional ranking! Sport is our passion, and to be able to do this, we also need to trade. Because we still have many horses here, which we could offer for sale, we were quite a while back thinking if we could set up an auction again. It saves us time to present many horses in 1 time to many interested buyers. We have decided to do this again with the trading platform Troostwijk. The advantage of the auctions over the internet, is that you can reach more people from different countries at the same time, which can make remote bids also from their home at the same time. Behind the scenes, we prepared already an interesting selection to be able to auction off on Monday April 20th. We will hold a viewing-day on Monday April 13th. The real start will be given during "Groentenjumping" during the Easter weekend, where we will present the selection on Easter Saturday and Easter Monday. During the Easter holidays the horses can be tried on appointment.
