Thibeau Spits in a really good period, victories for Happy C and Kadans vd Groenheuvel!
We want to thank a lot of riders for the interest that was shown for the ad we posted last week in our quest to strengthen our team .It is obviously not easy , but we have chosen two young riders, we would like to see here to compete with our youngsters.
Both have LRV roots , and with the necessary guidance, this could be very well.
We are talking about Thomas Mertens ( LRV Merksplas ) and Kissy Eerlings ( LRV Neerpelt ) .
Meanwhile, we are here in the stable used to work with young riders, and we are talking about our nephew Jeroen De Winter and our pony riders .
In Antwerp , the provincial LRV pony - selection in the highest classes are made on 2 days, the M indoors .
Our son Thibeau Spits has made last year his decision to stop playing football, and to focus on his poneys.
In his first season in this higher classes, he couldn't have done better.
He has won the first M indoor with Sunny, and yesterday he already won two classes (D- 1.10m, C- 1m) .
The first M indoor, we enjoyed the victory of Thibeau and Sunny. Yesterday it was Sunny again who realised the best time the jump off, but unfortanetely one fence down. Ultimately, this was good for 3rd place .
There were only two clear rounds in the class , and a really nice victory for Thibeau Spits with our approved poney stallion Kadans vd Groenheuvel (Calipso vd Vondelhoeve x Topnonstop).
A few months ago, Thibeau had the opportunity to start riding Happy C (Voltaire). She is not that big (size C, 1.36m), but she has got scope and quality, not normal.
Yesterday, there was only one double clear round for the poneys C, 1m. Thanks to Thibeau and Happy C, we could celebrate a second victory.
We are looking forward to the provincial Championships on 22th of February in Broechem.
For sure it will be a busy day for our kids.
Our son Marnick Spits is in the lead for our region Mechelen (D - 1m) with his poney Katinka vd Vrombautshoeve (Calipso vd Vondelhoeve x Corsaire). Also Thibeau Spits and Hightrick will be for sure in this selection.
For Marnick there will come an end to his poney time, and that's why Katinka makes part of our collection, who will be sold on internet by help of Troostwijk.
It is definitely a competitive collection , because yesterday on the regional LRV indoor at our stable, there was a nice victory for Christophe Waldburger with Icoon van de Dreef in the 1.10m class. Icoon is a half-brother of Action Breaker and looking for a new home by Troostwijk .

What also will be continued, that's the beautiful Worldcup history of our friend Joe Clee! Together with Diablesse de Muze, and their good results, like last Saturday in Bordeaux, they are climbing in the provisional Worldcup standing to an beautiful 11th place!!
