Valley DH Z, 2nd in the 6 year old horses with Jorien Livens. Comptesse 3th in the 1.40 m.

After the auction in 2011, Valley DH moved to Jorien Livens. Valley showed her commitment and good will on the Wen, and finished in 2nd place in the 6-year-old horses.
There came a whole group of 6-year-olds at the start, and there were also good results for horses that recently have left our stable, like Benfica and Hermes du Ri d'Asse (Argentinus x Grannus), double clear under the saddle of Thomas Dewit.

Patrik was particularly impressed by his mare Vichy DH Z (Va-Vite x Feo). She decided the 6-year-olds on a 7th place. This Vichy is a half-sister of Withney vd Dwerse Hagen. In the 5-year-olds, our Stallion Donckervoort jumped faultless again. Donckervoort currently does neatly what is expected of him. Patrik says this not fast, but with Donckervoort he feels the same ability of Withney. We look forward, how this stallion may further evolve.

Thursday the more experienced horse came for the first time at the start; in the 1.40 m class. Both Comptesse and Uletta DH did a demonstration-round, and came nowhere in trouble. Jérome Guery won the trial, before Wouter De Vos with Tonic Hero. A lovely 3rd place for Comptesse, and a 5th place for Uletta Dwerse Hagen.

A good start, means already half won. Patrik kept on going the same way in the 1.20m class, with clear rounds for Feline Dwerse Hagen and the 6-year-old Valetta DH Z (half-sister of Uletta). Feline came kilometers too short, but is clearly getting back on schedule. From the daughter of Isaura van de Helle, we have not yet seen the last. Also our finalist at the world championships last year, Valetta, is a promise for the future.

On Friday there is a rest day for Patrik on the Wen. On Saturday he comes again in action, with Uletta and Comptesse in the 1.40 m trial, and in the 1.50 m GP.
