Stallion Competition, 6 ex-party-auction stallions competed...
Last Friday, the first Stallion competition started, under massive interest.
For Patrik was there a clear round with our stallion Donckervoort, in the 5-year-olds.
There was the majority error free, but it still gives a nice feeling.
In the 5-year-olds did Carlsberg (see photo, v. Calido) and Dilano (by Lord Z) it also error free. Carlsberg changed in 2012 of owner, after the auction. For Dilano this happened a year earlier, direction Starhorses.
Albert Peffer is a loyal customer on our auction. He bought also Jonsaunier vd Dwerse Hagen at our auction as a foal, in 2010. Jonsaunier (Vertigo x Withney vd Dwerse Hagen) is meanwhile approved for the AES, and did it error free in the 4-year old stallions. The 4-year-old Javel (Mr Blue) moved after our auction 2012, and remained likewise beautiful flawless last Friday.
On the www.hengstencompetitie.be/nl/nieuws/Uitslagen-Hengstencompetitie-t-Overdijk results can be found, with the 6-year-olds Caspar (Verdi x G-Ramiro) (ex-party auction 2011) on a nice 8th place, after a double clear round. Almost was also Honduras (Balouco x Utrillo, Ex-party auction 2011) in the jump off. He did jump faultless over the obstacles, but a fraction too slow, with a time point. These 6 studs are certainly a nice publicity for our auction. To us to select also a top collection this year. More on this the following weeks.
During the www.winterequestriannights.be is on Sunday 10 February the 2nd manche held of this Stallion competition. Then we like participate again with Donckervoort and Honduras. Not only the studs come in action, also the young horses and the more experienced ones participate this week in Hulsterlo, for the Winter Equestrian Nights.
