Patrick and Wrangler vd Withoeve win the 1m40 class at Wieze !

It’s been a while but Wrangler wrote an international class again on his name! It wasn’t easy because there were 20 other riders in the jump off! It was quickly clear that the Spanish rider Manuel Anon had a big chance with an almost perfect round. The Irish rider Shane Carey still did it 2 seconds faster. Patrick and Wrangler had to go in as second last one and still made it a little bit faster! The week in Wieze started perfect and it gives us a super good feeling! Our national anthem in own country…. A bit later again our national anthem in the 1m45 class, this time for Jérome Guéry. We’re looking forward to the next classes that are counting for the FEI ranking. Therefor Withney will come in action. In Stuttgart there’s a world cup round going on this weekend. For Belgium we’ve got Philippe Lejeune, Gudrun Patteet and Judy-Ann Melchior riding there. Results can be followed through the next link.
Riding a competition that’s never possible without the owners. The horse world lost this week one of their most colorful owners. Who doesn’t remember Jan Van Raemdonck? The man behind the career of the horses of Philippe Lacus. When Wrangler won yesterday are thoughts were going to Jan Van Raemdonck, who was berried last week.
He made it until a nice age of 88 years old. He was really not planning to stop, on the contrary. 2 days before he died he still made some appointments to go and see and try some horses. Also in Zangersheide he asked us if we had still some horses for him and only the best was good enough…. He not only left a lot of friends in the horse world. Also in the movie world he was a man well known.
