Premium De Laubry
°1992 | stallion | chestnut | 1m74 | BWPPremium de Laubry was an exceptional horse. He had the last scope, was unbelievable fast in jump offs, and he loved to go on showjumpings. He came to our stables at the age of 3,5 years old. We have bought him at the auction of Jumping Mechelen. At the time you could already see that he would be a great performer.
He jumped the classes for young horses with our rider Patrik Spits. After his first international succes at the age of 7 years in Jumping Mechelen, he moved to the stables of the Belgian rider Ludo Philippaerts.
It was the brother of Ludo, Johan Philippaerts who had the time of his life with Premium de Laubry. At that time, he was an approved stallion, and we decided to stay joint owner. He won several Grand Prix at the age of 8 years old. At the age of 8 years, he had gains of more than 100.000 euros. Incredible!
At the age of nine years old, he went on a tour for 3 weeks to Spain. He had to do a few nations Cups. At that time we could't know that it would be his last trip... He had a colic and he died in the hospital of Madrid after an operation.
We have the mother of Premium de Laubry in our stables. Jade du Ri d'Asse is in good condition, and she gave birth to several foals, now by means of embryo transplantation.
She gave allready an other horse on Grand Prix level.
We have a lot of joy and succes with the half sister of Premium de Laubry; Withney van De Dwerse Hagen. She is like her half brother. Powerful, careful, and fast in jump offs.
We also have some children of Premium de Laubry at our stable. The most succesful at this time is Adagio van de Dwerse Hagen. He is already succesful on 1.40m level.
Every victory of Adagio, is an honour for his father, Premium.
