Patrik and Withney, were 14th in this Grand Prix. Simon Delestre kept the victory in France.
We were really satisfied, about our stallions Catalano and Cyber van Vrijhern. Only 7 years old, but for their age, they are really experienced and willing to jump the big fences.
They didn't jump the classes for young horses in Lons-Le-Saunier, but they gave the best of their selves in the big classes, counting for the FEI-ranking.
Both Catalano and Cyber van Vrijhern jumped those 1.50m classes, like they do it every week.
They are intelligent, scopy enough, careful, and for a rider, it's a pleasure to have such horses.
There was bad luck on one fence, for both Cyber and Catalano in these 1.50m classes, but we have a good feeling.
Next year, they will be succesful in these classes, and they can jump a Grand Prix at the age of 8 years old.
Next week Cyber and Catalano can stay home. There is another showjumping in France, in Canteleu.
We will take Withney vd Dwerse Hagen (S. Codex), Biba (s. Toulon), Alvaceno (s. Alvarez) en Vakilly (s. Heartbreaker).
After the jumping in Lons-Le-Saunier, we went Sunday evening to our foals (born in 2008), to take care of them. We thaugt to be in their naberhood, but it was only 700 km from there. They are standing in Folayronnes (domaine de Lasserre). It was a pleasure to see that everything is OK.
Patrik is used to be in France these days. We arrived this morning in Belgium, he can work and train his horses today, and he leaves back again tomorrow, to CSI Canteleu.
