The Party Auction has been a succes for our stable.

The afterglow on Sunday morning; the Party Auction was top !
Overall we can say that it was a successful evening! No incidents, everything went well, nice atmosphere and we’re very thankful to everybody who helped.

We knew it from the beginning, that the interest of the clients in Ensor would be really big.
That he would be sold for 87.000 euro, we could'nt think of that, and we are really grateful.
Also the approved stallions Can Remember (49.000) and Caspar (30.000) are sold for good money.

The foal Viace Houston (Va-Vite x Withney van de Dwerse Hagen) will have good possibilies to become a grand prix horse. She will move to the stable of Gilbert De Roock and Pilar Cordon.
The beautiful stallion Honduras will stay in Belgium, and will be riden by Joe Clee.

There were some very warm moments. Not only when the prices went up because you could’ve got warm from them…

But most of the time behind the small things you find something really big. Like our Chef d’équipe Philippe Guerdat for example. He bought the pony Lover. The sale price will be given to the riders as a form of price money during the Vegetable show. What he already gave to our riders is already a lot. With getting that promotion in the Super League, an Olympic ticket, a bronze and a gold medal in Kentucky and then still this gesture! Our hats off and a lot of gratitude!
A second warm moment we have to give to grandfather Gaston Ceuterick. Our niece Mieke Ceuterick was really in love with “Hartje, it means little Heart”. The real name of “Hartje” is Vivaldi, ¾ brother of Topinambour, but his blaze has the shape of a heart. Mieke says always was she things so everybody also knew that she was crazy about him. In a few years’ time Mieke will be doing the step from ponies to horses and grandfather Gaston Ceuterick made sure that Vivaldi is staying. After that, other grandfather Jos Ceulemans also showed his big heart and some special arrangements were made. Mieke has her big love Vivaldi and in a few years’ time you’ll be hearing from them!
Organizing an evening like that is not easy and we had a lot of people helping us, we were standing as a team!
We tried to make it an evening with surprises. We are not going to forget the honoration of our nephew Jeroen. They auctioned the pony themselves. Also auction master Jos Ceulemans did it again to auction a surprise. And what was happening with that drunk waiter? Luckily we had Kamiel Michiels to bring this men to a safe place …
More pictures and information about it are coming soon!
The most important thing today is: THANK YOU!
