The first was a little stallion, from Cupido and Virginia.
The second is a nice looking mare, from Va-Vite and Georgia vd Meerputhoeve (sister of Felitia DH, 3/4 sister of Westside vd Meerputhoeve).
Last year, we have had already 3 foals from Virginia, by means of transfert of embryos. Kostello and Korleone are the stallions by Codex. Laughan DH is the daughter of Virginia, in combination with Lordanos.
This year, Virginia could have as a mare of 4 years old, one foal herself, before going in the sport. We could see already, that she would be very succesful in sport. We hoped she could have a wonderful carreer.
This morning, everything seemed nice and hopeful. A few hours later, it has changed a lot.
Virginia has lost a lot of blood, the vet was called, but he couldn't help. Virginia passed away..
It's a big loss, not only for the little foal, but also for our stable.
