Bad luck for Va-Vite and Cadjanine Z à Fontainebleau. Just one fault in the big class.

Our horses Va-Vite, Wrangler and Cadjanine jumped fantastic this weekend in Fontainebleau.
It was the first time we were in Fontainebleau, but we hope to go back next year.
It was a wonderful organisation, and with a little more luck, we had a lot of more money..

On Saturday, our 3 horses stayed clear in the CSI**** classes. Cadjanine Z qualified with the 8th place in the 1.50m class for the Grand Prix.

On Sunday, our 3 horses had all bad luck on one fence.
Very expensive faults, because the class of Va-Vite had a dotation of 30.000 euro, and he was so close to the jump off.

The same for Cadjanine Z. She jumped fantastic in the 120.000 euro Grand Prix. The most difficult fences, were no problem at all for her. She just touched one fence, a normal oxer, at the end of the course, not even hard, but hard enough for 4 penalty points. Bad luck, but Patrik could leave the arena with a good feeling. She 's ready for the real work. She has made a lot of progress, and we know we have just to stay calm. One day, the luck will be at our side.

In the jump off, it seemed that Thimothée Anciaume would be the winner of the Grand Prix. Last to go was René Lopez with Nobless de Tess, daughter of Cumano. He was so fast, and it looked so easy. He won the Grand Prix and 40.000 euro, not bad at all!

When we went home, we had the confirmation that we can go to Falsterbo in 2 weeks. Our horses seem ready to go, and we hope to do some nice results, especially in the Nations Cup on Friday, the 8th of June.. It's an honnor that we can represent our country in such an important contest.
