Bad luck for Cento Lano, 3 months out of competetion..
We expected so much of our new couple Jeroen De Winter and Cento Lano this weekend.They have won already some nice classes, and they really seemed ready for the Cup in Bruges.
You can have a fence down, that can be bad luck, but now we have really bad luck.
It happened between fence number 2 and 3 in the first qualification. Cento Lano continued his class, but Jeroen couldn't feel the power of the real Cento Lano.
After leaving the ring, it was quite obvious. A tendon-problem...
We didn't have taken a scan till know, but the veterinary told us already that normally it will take 3 months before he can start working again.
Cento Lano has done already a few comebacks. Before he started jumping in the month of April, it took more than 18 months for that comeback. At that time, we didn't think it could be possible. Now, we stay hopeful. He 'll be back!
His daughter Uletta did what we expected. Jeroen can go to the final with Uletta and with Mozart, this Sunday.
