The Nations Cup in Falsterbo wasn't a big success for the Belgian Team, with a 7th place and only 2 points.In Aachen, we can say it was even worse, it seemed to be a nightmare. After the nice 2nd place in La Baule, we are at this moment on the 6th place in the rankings, that means danger for degradation. Two countries have to make place for 2 countries from the promotional league. At this time, only the United States and Danemark are after Belgium in the rankings.
It's time to wake up, and to do something. It's more easy to say than to do, but we have got to give it a try.
When Patrik had his selection for Falsterbo, it felt like a chance. Now, he has been asked to go to Hickstead, but it feels like a mission.
We will do everything necessary to help our team. We don't know at this moment if we will make part of the team, or that we have to go as 5th rider.
It's not so important. The result of our team, is the most important. There are 3 contests left on Super League level:
Hickstead, Dublin and Rotterdam.
We keep our fingers crossed, and we hope it will go better in Hickstead, on Friday the 29th of July.
