Everybody has got his dreams. Our nephew Jeroen De Winter is riding really good, and he's ready to go next week (from 25 till 28th of August) to the Belgian Championships Poneys and Children.A few weeks ago, our son Marnick started to ride at home sometimes with the horses. With his poney Sunny, he won this year already a few classes, but more important, he has won courage and confidance.
Not every poney has got the scope to jump 1.30m classes, so Marnick knew that if he would like to participate at a real championship, it should be already with a horse and in the children competition..
Yesterday, he asked it for real. At home, it goes quite good with Wrangler and Don G. Next week, he can try on the show in Vilvoorde. If everything looks safe, we can see what we can do.
We like to keep it safe and to get some nice results. That's why Patrik will take Va-Vite and Cadjanine to jump the 1.50m Grand Prix of Vilvoorde. Also Lady Mc Beth DH, Don G and Wrangler will jump the 1.40m classes. The belgian Championships for seniors will take place in Lanaken, from 22 till 25th of September. The 40 best riders of Belgium can take 1 horse to jump that Championship. Patrik is mentioned as the provisional 8th rider, so he's sure that he can participate.
