Patrik et Cadjanine Z, 5th in the Grand Prix of Castres, victory for Wrangler !

This weekend there have been a lot of international showjumpings. First some nice successes for our stable.
Then we begin with Patrik Spits himself, who won an international 1.40m class on Saturday in Castres with Wangler vd Withoeve. We are really happy with the clear round of Cadjanine in the Grand Prix. There were 11 riders in the Jump off. When there were only five riders to come in that jump off, Patrick was still in the lead. Then you expect more, than being 5th in the end... That's the sport. The feeling was so good with Cadjanine. We are on the right way, and who knows what will happen when we stay working like this, with patience and respect for the horse.
Lady Mc Beth also did clear round in the 1m40 class on Sunday. The victory of the Grand prix of Castres, was for the Frenchman Olivier Robert.

We now even across national borders, to the Swiss Humlikon. In the Grand Prix a nice third place for Dylano, son of our Cento Lano. Dylano is ridden by Maurice Van Roosbroeck who will receive 10,000 euros for this performance. Well done! In the same Grand Prix one of our breeding products in 6th place. The Swiss Pius Schwizer did some nice results the past months with Dundee Dwerse Vd Hagen (Caesar vd Helle x Brownboy), and today, they continued with good results in Humlikon.

Then we finally go really far. In Calgary, the Belgian team yesterday had to jump the Nations Cup in Calgary. Winning is obviously the best, but not being last in Calgary is just as important. Calgary is a wonderful competition, and the country who ends up last, will in principe not be invited for the next year. In the first round the United States collected 17 points of the three best combinations. Niels Bruynseels (NASA) and Olivier Philippaerts (Cabrio) were both good enough with 4 penalty points. By Rik Hemeryck (Quarco) was to be hoped that the 17 penalties, would be the score to be cancelled. The last man to come in for Belgium was Ludo Philippaerts. Who can count well, knows that Ludo couldn't have more than 8 penalty points, and he did exactly that result with Kassini Jac, that was close.
A shared eighth place with 16 points and the 10th place was for the United States. A special performance of the French team. They were only 3 riders at the start in the Nations Cup, and every result was as important, nothing to cancel. They managed to win the Nations Cup, and 115,000 euros. Good work from Jerome Hurel, Roger Yves Bost and Marc Dilasser. There was also one horse competing, coming from our stable. Wonami van den Aard, did a wonderful job, for the Mexican team, with Santiago Lampré.

In the Grand Prix of Calgary, with price money of $ 1,000,000, Ludo Philippaerts and Niels Bruynseels are placed to go to the second round with 4 penalty points. How it ends, you can find yourselve through the link..
