Nicola Philippaerts has been nominated for most promising young person in Sports Gala. It's the second time that somebody of the equestrian sports has got this kind of nomination. That he's worth this nomination the European Champion (Young Riders) showed it again in Paris with already one victory. Almost there was a second victory for Nicola in the 1.45m class, where he had the fastest chrono in the jump off, but one fault of Carlos. Not a problem for the Philippaerts family, his brother Olivier Philippaerts won the class with Sjoeke. It may now "only" be in the 2-star, and not in the prestigious 5-star, but participation in the real Gucci Masters will be soon possible for these young and very talented riders. If Nicola can win the trophy for most promising young sports-man, we all can follow on December 18, on the national television of Belgium. Pius Schwizer, together with Dundee Dwerse vd Hagen (Caesar vd Helle x Brownboy), has become a successful combination at the highest level. Today they were double clear in the 1.55m class. With the time, good enough for the 9th place. The victory was there for Ben Maher and Triple X.
The Dam of Dundee Dwerse Hagen, named Passe Partout, gave more descendants at our stable. We still have two younger horses. Vicky DH Z, a beautiful mare of 4 year old, daughter of Va-Vite, will make part of the collection for the Party Auction on January the 7th. Vicky Dh Z isn't only beautiful, she can jump also quite good. If we want to give name and a good reputation to our Party Auction Party, we just have to give the opportunity to buy horses, who are not really for sale. We sure can keep the younger brother Itou DH Z a little for ourselves.
Vicky DH Z will not be the only surprise at the Party auction, also a half brother of Va-Vite can be bought at that occasion. We have sold Can Remember (Diamant de Semilly x Cash) at the Party Auction 2011. Now we present a foal out of this stallion Can Remember and Rapsody (Clinton). This beautiful foal has got the name Lancelot Dwerse Hagen, a beautiful little stallion. We try to give the full information, with photos, videos,.. from the entire collection, +- 15 december.
For us, it stays necessary to sell horses, to keep the other horses in the international sport. We are very pleased that Patrik Spits and Withney did a nice beautiful clear round the first day in the Qualifier for the Grand Prix in CSI** Neeroeteren. With that result, they are sure they can compete in the Grand Prix this Sunday. Jonas Vervoort and Lady Macbeth DH had one fault on Thursday and Friday. But that's no problem, it's only the first time they go in the arena together. They just have got to take the time to get used to each other, and then the results will follow hopefully.
