Sherlock K, has been sold. He will leave to Iran.
Last week we had been to the movies to see Warhorse. Although the film received no Oscar, for us he had earned for sure more than one. A fantastic movie, where it becomes clear how close the relation can be between rider and horse.To know that we don't have to go to the cinema, we can see it and feel it in our own stable. Horses can be really intelligent. One is slightly more interesting than another one.
Sherlock, we can say that it was always fascinating. In 2008 he did a wonderful job with Patrik Spits on the beautiful grass arenas of Hickstead and Dublin. After Sherlock had left for almost three years, he returned in December 2011 to our stable. We knew that it was possible that he would be sold, but we could'nt imagine that it was happening so soon.
This time, the goodbye will be definitely.
Sherlock has been sold to Iran. The political situation in Iran today now seems not so stable. Let us hope that Sherlock can go over there for the reason he has been bought; to do well in the sport .. And so each horse has its own story.
As Sherlock would not have been sold, he would have been this weekend at the showjumping of Bremen. Patrik knows from experience that this three-star competition is built quite difficult. It will be quite difficult for Lady Macbeth, which therefore replaces Sherlock.
Recently we had to say goodbye to Cadjanine. We give the freedom to Gregory Wathelet to become a combination. It was nice to see them with a picture on the website of Studforlife. She looks great. You can read the entire interview through the link. A good exercise French also ..
