This weekend, the penultimate course in the Top level series

On Friday 20 July, the penultimate Nations Cup, which counts in the Top Level Series, is held. We could participate there a few times, and so we know that it’s quite difficult in Hickstead.
Belgium selected some big names to participate over there, like Dylano (Cento Lano). Meanwhile, our reigning Belgian champion Maurice van Roosbroeck, got strengthened by Camulet. The other team-members who will jump in Hickstead are Niels Bruynseels, Pieter Devos, Rik Hemeryck and Dominique Hendrickx.
We keep our horses closer to home this weekend. Jonas Vervoort is working particularly good with the young horses. Quamdo (Quinar * Lord) and Bertolo (Lord Z) ranked 5th and 6th in the 1m25 Grand Prix at Moerzeke last weekend. The next weekend, Bertolo and Quamdo are not allowed to participate with Jonas in Lananken, this show is only open to horses which are at birth registered in the studbook Zangersheide. In this Z-competition, there are wild-cards to be won by the 5- and 6-year old horses for the world championships for young horses, which are held in September at the same location. There are already 2 manches held on June 23 and 24, and now on July 21 and 22, the decisive 3th and 4th manche are being held. Provisionally it still looks all fine for Veneto DH (Va-Vite * Withney DH), which has a provisional 2nd place in the 5-years-old. More info can be found on www.zangersheide.com.
Patrik also remains in the country with his horses, on Saturday and Sunday he will be participating at the national Silver League show in Moerzeke. And then he sees a chance to go support the team on Friday… in Hickstead. More info about Hickstead can be found via the link.
