Caspar, also winner in the cycle of 5-year-old-horses

Everybody can see it. Caspar performs. Caspar (Verdi x g. Ramiro) left our stables as a 4-year-old approved stallion during our auction in 2011. The family Schelstraete will not have complained about their purchase, and they are wright!
During the 2011-2012 stallion competition he made no fault, and so he won ex-aequo this competition.
In the cycle of the 5-year old horses he remained also 10 x faultless! Our Valence DH Z, in co-ownership with Patrick De Roeck, is also one of the 8 horses with these 10 out of 10 faultless courses. So with 2 out of 8, now a quarter of the winners come from Stal Ceulemans... Sounds nice.
Congratulations to riders Thomas De Wit and Bart Bommeré.
Congratulations to the owners, and in the case of Caspar also to breeder Jan Terweelen from the Netherlands.
Valence DH Z is born in our stables; daughter of Va-Vite and Emmeraude Du Ri d'Asse. Meanwhile this Emeraude jumps successfully courses of 1.45 m in Switzerland under the saddle of Christian Tardy. The 4-year-old Valthery, full brother of Valence, was recently sold to France.
And now for the attentive reader. The half-brother of Emeraude also participated in the cycle of the 5-year-old horses. Where the father of Emeraude is Toulon, father of Hermes Du Ri D'Asse is Argentinus. Both have the same mother Perle du Ri d'Asse (v. Grannus), from the same mother line as our Withney DH. This time, niece Valence has outperformed "Uncle Hermes". Hermes was however also fine with 8 to 10 faultless courses. He stands on a shared 28th place.
We still have another half-sister of Caspar. Deerntje is a 4-year-old beautiful mare, daughter of Zakharov. We are saving for a good collection of auction horses. The 4th edition of the party-auction will be on Saturday 5 January 2013.
