Jeroen De Winter will participate in the final in Gesves with Illuna and Gravin.

The sport can be beautiful. Example is the achievement of the juniors at the European Championships, with their silver medal. Jos Verlooy and Chloe Vrancken dwell currently between the 5 leaders of the individual standings. Nice starting position for the final on Saturday. Also our nephew Jeroen De Winter is currently still in a nice spot. He earned a place in the final with the mares Illuna van het Netehof (4-year-olds, BC in Gesves, Casall x Darco) and Gravin van het Netehof (6-year-olds, BC in Gesves, f. Darco). With Gretel (f. Corland) was that one fault in the first qualification too much, notwithstanding a flawless 2nd circulation. Only the 27 double clear combinations will jump the final on Sunday.
Sport can also be hard. Jonas Vervoort still had 2 opportunities to qualify for the final of the 5-year-olds on Sunday. Valetta DH is a particularly fine mare, but yesterday she became sick in Gesves. There had to be given forfait for the 2nd qualification. The good news is that she will recover completely, and that they can resume work next. The timing is not ideal, but we are nonetheless satisfied that we have taken no further risks. With Carabas (Caretino) a qualification would be still possible after a flawless first course. We hope it along for Jonas.
Of course we hope also all the best for the Belgian delegation in Dublin today. Zafir amazed everybody yesterday. Along with Jérome Hurel they were on Thursday evening good for second place in the 1.50 m-1.60 m category! Owner Laure Henry may be very satisfied, what an ambassador for our Party-Auction!
