Withney DH 12th in GP of Verbier; Comptesse wins ex-aequo the 6 bars

At this time, the horses are safely back in their stables; the videos are viewed. Withney DH, Lady McBeth DH and Comptesse have the past weekend given the best of themselves.
The performance of Comptesse especially is remarkable. As a debutante at international level, she jumped herself every time in the prices. The icing on the cake was the victory in the 6-bares test on Saturday. This victory had to be shared with 2 amazons, who also cleared the 2.10 m vertical.
Withney DH is feeling herself very good lately, and knew to qualify for the jump-off of the GP. A barrage with 13 candidates, and then there must be taken risks. It was going super good, until on the penultimate obstacle. She did so her best, that we like to forgive her these two mistakes.
Yesterday there were shows in different places. Saturday our nephew Jeroen De Winter was very successful in the 1.40 m course at CSN Vilvoorde with clear rounds of Daskia and Va-Vite. On Sunday he was guest at the LRV tournament of Bornem. The M-class he won with Gravin, his 6-year-old Darco-mare. Also the Z-class he put on his name along with Rapsody DH (mother of our stallion Va-Vite). In the L-class, a third victory had been possible; but Gretel got there a rare fault. Jeroen was referred to the 10th place as fastest with 4 points. And so is Jeroen beaten by his younger brother Jorgen De Winter; that just made the switch from ponies to horses. Together with Tommy Jorgen was 8th in the L-series.
