Goodbye summer vacation, welcome Umosa.
Summer vacation is almost finished, from next week on school starts again, our children and ponies will have known it.We are going to enjoy once again the last days of the holiday together; and we have chosen to go to Jumping Nieuwpoort. Our son Thibeau Spits will participate with Sunny and Spirit, while Marnick opts for Bijou and Katinka.
In Belgium the “Scholars” level is particularly high; that was showed again at the European Championships, 2 weeks ago. Belgium captured the team gold there. In Nieuwpoort the cup of Belgium for “Scholars” will be jumped.
Also the Belgian championship for ponies will be held this week in Nieuwpoort. We ourselves participate in the side tests, but will gladly follow the Championship.
Farewell to the summer, and at the same time we welcome a new horse in our stables. The mare Umosa B, now 11 years, daughter of Andiamo, we know her from under the saddle of Ben Leys. She brought Ben to 1.50 m level, and not without success. She was already at the beginning of this year our guest; during the Groentenjumping. Now we hope that she can stay for a long time.
