Results doesn't tell everything; nice images via Sporza.be.

We heard it all on the news; the double gold medal in the dressage competition at the Paralympic Games in London. It was our compatriot Michèle George who rode her horse Rainman perfectly. They created a beautiful reportage on Sporza; it gives you goose bumps.
Only results tell not everything. Often there is a story behind. We looked on the website of the show of Gijon to see who performed strong in the GP. Great that there was profit for Trevor Coyle with Jubilée. In addition to his win in the GP of Beervelde, this 5-star GP is for the Irish horseman who resides in Belgium for years.
Also striking was to see that Maurice Van Roosbroeck was excluded with Calumet. They form a combination that almost never makes a fault.
This time it went wrong on one hurdle, with a fall as a result. Maurice broke his collarbone. Maurice Van Roosbroeck would be able to defend his title at the Belgian Championship in Lanaken within a few weeks. Let us hope that Maurice recovers soon.
With Uletta DH, Withney DH and Comptesse, Patrik departs tonight to France, for the 2-star show in Castres.
Last year Patrik was 5th in the GP with Cadjanine z. He was also particularly well in the closing donkey-class, but had to submit for Eric Navet... Patrik found his donkey rather to the stubborn side...
Hopefully Withney, Uletta and Comptesse will show their best side, and there can be good results. Starting Friday, the show can be followed through this link.
