Wednesday September 26th, first round of the Belgian Championship.
Let’s go just a bit back in time. On March 27th this year there was a change in the property of Withney.It was rather an emotional decision. Because I wanted to postpone a possible sale of Withney, I bought myself the half of Withney, to thank her for what had been. It was a decision that has brought peace.
At that time I had not imagined what Withney herself still had to show us. Meanwhile, we have had very nice moments, culminating in the profit of the GP of Villeneuve Sur Lot. Given the fact that the children are active in the sport themselves, I usually must follow from a distance, as co-owner, wife of, and probably biggest fan.
There are already 99 stamps in the FEI-passport of Withney, proof of 99 different veterinary checks on international competitions.
Normally, she will get no stamp tomorrow, because it is a national contest. But symbolically we celebrate yet this weekend her 100th participation.
All matches were together with Patrik, which makes it even more special.
Attuned they are for sure. We know her pluses and its minuses. Between the fellow riders who participate in the BK we can identify some favorites for the stage. Ourselves we don’t want to count us in. We go, participate, and we'll see where we come out.
On Wednesday morning there is a warming up. Wednesday afternoon is the first round of the Belgian Championship. After the second round on Thursday, we know the finalists for Saturday afternoon.
