Withney 9th in the belgian Championship.
It was her 5th participation at the Belgian Championship, but actually it was also her best time ever.The result has already been better, even if we think a 9th place is definitely OK.
The way Withney finished this time her 4 rounds, we found more than OK. Really bad luck, with that fault on obstacle 1 on Thursday in the 2 round. The final rounds were actually the worst for our nerves, with 2 x a mistake on the last obstacle. That was quite a disappointment, but that was quickly flushed. They jumped a nice Championship and Withney showed that she is experiencing her second youth.
Our real youth has also done well. Carabas DH(Caretino) and Veneto DH(Va-Vite x Withney) did fine in the consolation class with a 10th and 14th place.
Valetta DH got in the final of the 5-year-olds a fault in the triple combination.
Honduras Dwerse Hagen (Balouco x Utrillo), is a beautiful stallion with fine movements and a good technique on the jump. He was somewhat too inexperienced to reach the final of this world championship. He could convince the jury however, which approved Honduras as breeding stallion for Studbook Zangersheide.
He was in our auction in 2011. Honduras was then purchased by Joe Clee, Jan De Vos, and Patrik remained also co-owner.
