No fight against a show, but a fight fo a show.

I admit, patience is not my best side. I saw our organization already on the FEI calendar, and we shoot out of the starting blocks.
If we take a decision, we also always go for it.
A while ago we took the decision to postpone the auction until the weekend of the Groentenjumping during the Easter weekend 2013.

We would then go from a national to an international show.
We had to follow the procedure. We got the green light of the Jumping Commission, after which the KBRSF has informed the umbrella organization FEI.
There would be only 1 problem, and that was that object would come out of organizations within the same continent with the same number of stars.

The weekend of 29 March to 1 April, could that be the CSI *** Oliva (Spain, Valencia) and the CSI *** Arezzo (Italy). Far from our bed, and a small organization such as ours, could mean competition for them.
But still … Last week, Monday 10 December we got a mail that objection had come.
Meanwhile we have the permission of CSI *** Oliva, thanks to the sympathetic president Alejandro Barreras.
Since then we also started to convince the CSI *** Arezzo, but so far without much result.

We wait for white smoke from Italy.

There are also some certainties, and that is, for instance, that between 26 and 30 December a show of format is furnished; Jumping Mechelen. It is always nice to see that we can start, and in which competitions.
For Patrik it is particular good news, because he's going to have a busy week.
We're going to try to do our best for our sponsor Euphony, permanent partner of Jumping Mechelen. We want to do more than our best, for all supporters and sympathizers of our stable.

Patrik can start in the 5-star of Mechelen. He counts on Withney, Umosa and Comptesse vd Withoeve.
With Zidane DH he will participate the first day in the test of strength. On CSI *** Nieuwpoort, they still managed to jump over the wall of 2.20 m. We hope to equalize that success.
In the Flemish Championship Uletta comes at the start. Donckervoort DH jumps the 4-year-old-stallions-test, Va-Vite jumps during the Sires of the World.

Patrik has made his plan A, but keeps a plan B and plan C in mind.
And so we try also with "Groentenjumping" to look positively ahead.
In principle we want to organize from Friday 29 March until Monday April 1, a 3-star contest, in combination with tests for 6-and 7-year-olds, and international 1-star categories. A week later it would be a euro-regio from Friday 5 to Sunday 7 April, in combination with Vor and LRV competitions. We must perhaps adjust our plans ... As soon as we know more, we will definitely give more info quickly.

About the show in Mechelen, you will find more info via the link.
