Victory in Liege GP for husband of Athina Onasis: Alvaro de Mirando Neto.

In this year’s Liege Grand Prix, which has just ended, two Belgians managed to get through to the jump-off. Philippe Lejeune (Ulysse) and Jos Lansink (Silvana) gave the best of themselves, but both ended with one miss.
The victory in the Liege GP was for the Brazilian rider Alvaro de Mirando Neto, something his wife Athina Onasis will certainly be very proud of.

The basic round of the Grand Prix proved to be too difficult for a lot of riders and/or horses. Of the 52 starting combinations, only 7 reached the jump-off. We knew very well that the triple jump would be the “joker” of the track for Patrik and Withney with number 42.
Most unfortunately, things indeed went wrong for Withney and Patrik in the triple jump. Nevertheless, Withney showed some splendid things during the class. We are proud to have this horse in our stable and we look forward to its next attendance in an important event. A good result in a GP is just a matter of time…. We keep faith!

Earlier that day our 6 year old breeding stallion Va-Vite managed to reach the jump-off in the final for 6 and 7 years old horses. Patrik did not take too many risks in the jump-off and made a clear round, which put him on the 8th place. The victory was for Ramiro de Belle Vue, the 7 year old son of Mozart Des Hayettes with Jerome Guery.
