Great job Jeroen!
Our nephew Jeroen De Winter did a great job in the Nations Cup on Saturday! He already showed that he's good at handling stress . The first round Belgian juniors Gilles Thomas , Leonie Peeters and our Jeroen Va - Vite all had a clear round . Only Elisa Strubbe got an error on the water .The Belgian team was leader in the 2nd round , followed by the Netherlands with 4 points .
In the 2nd round Elisa Strubbe got 12 points . Gilles Thomas and Leonie Peeters each received an error on the water with 4 points . Meanwhile the Netherlands had also come at 8 points . When Jeroen came in with Va - Vite , a barrage had been possible , if he had a clear round . The water was one of the last obstacles , and there it went wrong with a foot in the water .. Besides Va-Vite Jeroen can also count on Gretel. Currently they are still Belgian junior champion . Yesterday they jumped together to victory ! Jeroen was the fastest , and that's how we like it !
For Patrik there were no victories in Chapels , but quite some medals. One of his horses does have achieved a victory . Umosa B was an occasional duo with Pauline Guignery in the French Mantes - La -Jolie , and good for the victory in the 1.35m class on Saturday .
One of our former horses did good it in France. Dame Blanche d'Arenberg and Penelope Leprovost were 4th in the Grand Prix of La Baule . Remarkable that almost all jump candidates were flawless, 5th place for Jos Verlooy and Domino. Joe Clee has also made a brilliant trail in La Baule with Uttamaro d' Ecausinnes . With 0 and 4 in the nations he made it to the 3rd place in the British team , and with a clear round also a handsome 8th place in the Grand Prix .
Joe goes towards Rome for the next appointment in the first division , and comes back at Whitsun to St -Catherine - Waver , we are very happy to see him here at work!
On Sunday afternoon, our two boys Marick and Thibeau Spits jumped in the same trial as Patrik with his Jericho . Marnick and Bijou did super with a 2nd place , Thibeau and Vicenza Rosa were good for 9th place . Like in Azelhof , they left their father behind .. That promises !

Next week we are going to the international competition CSI ** Lier . Patrik takes his Dolce Vita ( Darco x Saygon ) , along with the 7-year Valence DH.
