Next year only regional Groentenjumping, everybody welcome from April 3-6
The national and international jumping calendar was already known for several weeks. In the beginning there were few questions, but in the meantime it was already noticed by many people and supporters of "Groentenjumping".
We do not stand with CSI St-Katelijne-Waver or with "Groentenjumping" on this calendar. That does have his reasons, and we like to give them here.
At the time we had to do the applications for the calendar, we had not the courage to apply for a national or international competition.
We got bad news, about the state of health of our sister-in-law Ilse Ceulemans, for over 20 years, the wife of our brother Paul.
Since July, she immediately had to start the fight against this terrible disease cancer, and she has some particularly heavy months behind her. After the scan this week there was liberating news; Ilse has not fought for nothing, and would currently have overcome the disease. There are still post treatments and check-ups, but we are of course very happy with this evolution.
The success and organization of our competition stands and falls with our family and friends, and that is why we didn’t want to set up a big event next year. We kept in mind to do something, and did an application for a regional competition during Easter weekend from 3 to 6 April 2015. As soon as the calendars are also known at regional level, we can immediately continue to work on the program.
What is certain, is that we also want to keep a moment during that weekend to celebrate the farewell of Withney. She will be just 16 years old on 3 April 2015, that would be a nice time for her a "birthday-thanks-party" ...
In any case, the ideas come back now, and we can get back into action to make a nice weekend out of it.
We would like to thank everyone that was part of our regional and international organization of "Groentenjumping" in 2014. It may be that we are taking on a larger organization again in 2016, but for the time being we enjoy also a quieter year in 2015, where we of course invite everyone for Groentenjumping regional.
