Robert Vos wins opening class on Sunday, Cleo Laenen wins Prize Horsewhip

The CSI3* participants were first the go in the second arena on Sunday, the third day of the ‘Groentenjumping’. Both riders and public enjoyed the sun during this competition. A good start of the day. Holland’s Robert Vos won this class, the Prize Rima, with the stallionVDL Another Pleasure (KWPN, by For Pleasure). Second and third place went to Belgium: Guillaume Ruant with the BWP gelding Udo Van De Somme (by Baloubet du Rouet) and Ann Carton-Grootjans with Funky Music (BWP, by Vigo d’Arsouilles). Today’s second class, the Prize Horsewhip, was staged in the main arena. The competition was won by Belgium’s Cleo Laenen with Ursula, a KWPN mare by Hold Up Premier. Yesterday she finished runner-up in the Prize Stal Ceulemans with the same horse. The runner-up spot went to another Belgium lady rider, Marjan De Wachter, she had saddled the 11-year-old KWPN mare Victoria VII (by Orame). The prizemoney for third place stayed in Belgium too, Gertjan Casteels with Bolero vh Molenhof (BWP, by Ohio van de Padenborre). Full results
